There is no age restriction on imported used cars in Azerbaijan.
All the vehicles imported from Japan must be Left-Hand Drive (LHD)
In Azerbaijan, no inspection is required for imported cars.
Import Duties: Vehicle import tariffs depend on the engine capacity of the vehicle:
Up to 1,500 cc: 0.40 AZN per cc
1,501 cc to 3,000 cc: 0.70 AZN per cc
Above 3,000 cc: 1.00 AZN per cc
Value Added Tax (VAT): The VAT is 18% of the CIF price plus import duty.
Excise Tax: The excise tax is also applied depending on the vehicle’s age and engine capacity.
Road Tax: There may be alternative road tax which might be differentiated by the vehicle type and age.
Original Certificate of Title and Registration.
Sales Invoice or Receipt New.
Bill of Lading
Passport Copy
Certificate of Conformity (that states that the vehicle conforms to Euro 4 standards).
Proof of Insurance
